
Plymouth, United States: Two people were injured after a small amphibious aircraft crashed at Plymouth Municipal Airport in New Hampshire on Monday afternoon, prompting an emergency response and the launch of an investigation into the accident.
According to local broadcaster WMUR, emergency crews were dispatched to the airport shortly before 4 p.m. local time following reports of an aircraft crash on airport property. The two occupants aboard the aircraft survived the accident and were transported for medical treatment. Authorities have not released details regarding the extent of their injuries.
The aircraft involved was a CubCrafters CC19-215 NXCub, registration N69NX. The aircraft was equipped with floats, allowing it to operate from both conventional runways and water surfaces.The aircraft is owned by Sonoma Valley LLC.
Officials have not disclosed the identities of the occupants, the purpose of the flight, or whether the aircraft was arriving at or departing from Plymouth Municipal Airport at the time of the accident. The flight’s origin and intended destination also remain unknown.
