Delhi: On January 15, Air India flight AI-849, operating from Delhi to Pune, was delayed by over five hours. Originally scheduled to depart at 3:55 PM from Indira Gandhi International Airport, the flight faced disruptions due to unavailability of pilots to fly.

Passengers were initially informed of a revised departure at 5:00 PM. However, the timeline was repeatedly pushed back in intervals of 30 minutes. The flight ultimately departed at 9:10 PM and arrived in Pune close to 11:00 PM, significantly later than its scheduled arrival time of 6:05 PM.

Additionally, multiple other flights were delayed on Wednesday due to heavy fog in delhi.

The delays led to extended waiting times for over 200 passengers, reflecting operational challenges posed by weather and staffing conditions.
