Sand and Fun 2024: Saudi Arabia’s Aerial Celebration of Innovation, Culture, and the Future of Flight

Saudi Arabia: The Saudi General Aviation Airshow, “Sand & Fun” will return to Riyadh’s Al-Thumamah Airport from November 19 to 23, 2024, offering a spectacle-filled event and an in-depth look at the world of aviation. 

At the core of Sand & Fun 2024 is a captivating lineup of over 100 exhibitors showcasing the finest in worldwide aviation. 

This year’s focus is on environmentally responsible aviation practices and the future of flight, in keeping with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Attendees will see cutting-edge sustainable technology, such as electric airplanes and advances in fuel economy. 

The event’s heart lies in the “SkyVentures Air Show”, a breathtaking display involving 15 international teams doing jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics including Saudi Hawks and the Phoenix Paramotors Display Team from Poland,.

Visitors may also see modern commercial and military aircraft, with regular flying demonstrations and static displays offering a unique opportunity to learn about aviation technology.

The Kids Zone is a separate area featuring aviation-themed games, interactive exhibits, and flight simulators developed just for children. It’s an opportunity to introduce young minds to the science of flight in an enjoyable and accessible manner.
