Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 25, 2024 – Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, has unveiled its most ambitious expansion to date, adding ten new destinations to its network in a single day. This milestone reflects the airline’s unwavering commitment to enhancing global connectivity and offering its passengers greater travel options. The expanded network will further cement Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class hub for tourism and business.
In 2025, Etihad will connect travelers to a diverse range of cities around the globe, making it easier than ever to explore culturally rich, economically vibrant, and naturally breathtaking destinations. This expansion is expected to bring a significant influx of visitors to Abu Dhabi, strengthening its reputation as a premier destination for both leisure and commerce.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, acknowledged his enthusiasm at this milestone, stating:

Atlanta: a significant economic hub in the United States, mixes Southern charm with modern conveniences, flourishing tech companies, and a vibrant sports scene
Chiang Mai: a cultural haven in northern Thailand, with historic temples, bustling markets, and green mountains
Hanoi: Known for its centuries-old architecture, Hanoi combines Southeast Asian, Chinese, and French elements to provide a diverse cultural experience

Etihad’s newest expansion is projected to bring tens of thousands of new visitors to Abu Dhabi, cementing the city’s status as a key worldwide center.
