Dubai, UAE: Emirates has officially launched Emirates Courier Express, an international end-to-end delivery solution aimed at transforming the express logistics landscape. Initially teased on April 1, the launch was confirmed just ahead of the IATA World Cargo Symposium in Dubai (April 15–17)

The service leverages the airline’s fleet of over 250 widebody aircraft and global partner network to offer direct, door-to-door delivery, bypassing the traditional hub-and-spoke model. This ensures significantly faster transit times, with average deliveries completed in under 48 hours.

A fully digital platform allows seamless booking, system integration, real-time tracking, and customized logistics solutions. Businesses can sign up at emiratescx.com to get started.

First: Next-business-day delivery for urgent shipments (up to 30 kg).

Premium: Delivery within 2–4 business days (up to 70 kg).

Currently, Emirates Courier Express operates in seven markets—the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the UK with plans for rapid global expansion. The service caters to industries shipping fashion, electronics, documents, medical supplies, and temperature-sensitive goods like vaccines and medicines.

By integrating with Emirates SkyCargo’s established infrastructure, the service handles volume fluctuations with cost stability, helping businesses plan better. The offering includes specialist support and cool chain capacity for sensitive shipments.

Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, called the initiative “an evolution in how we move goods across the globe, at speed and at scale.” Dennis Lister, SVP of Product and Innovation, added that the service is “the result of challenging the status quo” amid rising cross-border shipping demand.

As the logistics industry faces pressure highlighted by IATA’s February 2025 report showing a global air cargo dip of 0.1% and an 11.9% drop among Middle Eastern carriers, Emirates Courier Express positions itself as a reliable, efficient, and scalable alternative built for the demands of modern commerce.
