Noida, India: EndureAir Systems, a Noida-based deep-tech startup specializing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has successfully raised ₹25 crore (approximately $2.85 million) in a funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from IAN Angel Fund. The capital infusion is earmarked to bolster the company's UAV capabilities for defense applications, expand its footprint in enterprise markets, and accelerate the development of next-generation high-altitude logistics and aerial robotics platforms. Established in 2018 by Dr. Abhishek, a professor of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur, alongside his former students Rama Krishna (CEO) and Chirag Jain (CTO), EndureAir has transitioned from an academic research initiative to a leader in India's indigenous UAV sector. The company's approach distinguishes it from competitors by developing both hardware and software in-house, supported by over 15 years of rotorcraft research and a growing portfolio of 8–9 patents covering flight dynamics, autonomy, and vertical take-off and landing technology. Operating in a competitive UAV market alongside companies such as ideaForge, Garuda Aerospace, and NewSpace Research, EndureAir differentiates itself through its research-driven, indigenous approach. Co-founder & CEO Rama Krishna emphasized the company's commitment to developing robust, mission-ready UAVs designed for India's challenging terrains, aiming to transform enterprise logistics and aerial mobility, and position India as a global leader in UAV innovation. This funding marks a significant milestone in EndureAir's journey, reinforcing its position at the forefront of India's UAV and aerial robotics landscape.
